Isaya Mondori
He went to live as an apprentice with his
master and embarked on a study programme for Japanese dance. In
1967 he gave his first performance. In 1968 he was named "Natori"
(a title in the arts awarded by a master) in the Hanayagi style
and expectations for this young, promising dancer were high. In
the seventies he performed at many concerts and events such as the
classic opening ceremony during the Japanese EXPO that was held
in Osaka.
